Tahlee Johnson

I was born in Perth in 1972 + studied Fine Art at the University of WA , working in a variety of mediums including drawing ,painting + sculpture, as well as having an interest in screen printing and photography. after completing my BA + Ma in Fine Art, I taught 2nd + 3rd year students the History of Modernism at Central Tafe and Claremont School of Art for a semester, before deciding to travel and eventually to live in Europe.

I have been based in London for seven years now, where I earn my living designing shoes, having designed for Caterpillar and Acupunture Footwear where I currently work. www.acupuncturefootwear.com/base.html

I have retained my interests in photography,drawing and screen printing, as well as designing accessories, and draw inspriration from the diverse culural heritage of Europe just as much as I draw inspriration from Australia's unique landscape.
